It is really a source of great happiness and peace of mind to see the capital Amman hosting Under the patronage of H.E the Prime Minister Eng. Nader Dahabi the Education and Training International Exhibition & Seminars “EDUTEX”, which will be hosted by Snabel Expo, in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, trust that “EDUTEX” will be an important annual event for the education training industry in the future for this region.

 Since Jordan is the Educational and Training hub in the Middle East, the opportunities of (EDUTEX) do not include only a display of collection of education and training programs, but also establishment of business contacts, exploring new markets and expanding their Client base.

It is worth mentioning that the higher education sector in Jordan serves three major purposes in the Jordanian economy in addition to the traditional role of preparing qualified citizens for employment: Firstly, It attracts foreign students bringing with them valuable foreign currency by about 313 million US$ in 2006 /2007 . Secondly, It performs research and development initiatives to create new knowledge and technology. Thirdly, it provides Jordan’s industries with qualified technical and management professionals.

Additionally, through efforts in research and development the sector contributes to the overall knowledge available in Jordan, through partnerships between private and public parties leading to improve Jordan’s overall competitiveness. The higher education with it institutions is changing rapidly to accommodate the ever-evolving demands of global consumers and has already begun to evolve to meet this demand through initiatives such as distance learning, online programs and accelerated or nighttime courses.
